This past Saturday, Foot2Water held its first annual Open House at F2W headquarters in Anderson, SC. All I can say is WOW! Over 45 people attended this event coming from 4 different states! The Open House gave visitors a chance to meet the leadership of the organization and to snoop around our offices to see what F2W is all about. It was an awesome afternoon of great food and fellowship with mission focused people.
For the past several weeks the Leadership Team and I have been praying for this Open House. Our hearts desire was to have God glorified at this event. I must admit I was not sure what was going to happen. Oh with Christi Norris doing the food (under the watchful eye of Rebecca and Chandler) I knew at least the food would be a hit! But what about people? Would they come? Is this community truly interested in an organization focused on helping others? YES, YES, and YES! God continues to blow me away through the support and encouragement of this community.
All I can say is, if you think you missed out on something special, you’re right, you did! But don’t worry, there is always next year! And next year will be even bigger. What if I said over 100 people will attend next year’s Open House? Would you believe it? I do, because my God is that big, how big is yours?
