We’re back! F2W just returned from another great trip to Bay St Louis, Mississippi with Capstone Community Church and Pope Drive Baptist Church. A team of 16 people traveled to the Gulf Coast to help F2W with its’ ongoing efforts in assisting hurricane Katrina victims.
During this trip the team and I were able to work with a local city supervisor who is a resident of Bay St Louis. Overwhelmed to say the least, Jimmy has worked tirelessly at rebuilding his community for the past 10 months. The entire time was spent ministering to him and residents who were not receiving assistance from other organizations. It was a pleasure to work with such a godly and committed man like Jimmy.
What an awesome trip! I was so proud of our team. In 100 degree weather and harsh conditions, each member gave 100% and worked hard at selflessly serving others. What a wonderful example of the hands of Christ! This dedicated group definitely left their fingerprints on the lives of many people in Bay St Louis.
