Last month our overseas partner in the Philippines, Masinloc Independent Baptist, celebrated their eight year anniversary. To celebrate this special occasion the church held a big community wide celebration weekend.  All the food, fun, and worship culminated in a baptism service at the local river where six new believers were baptized!

We at F2W are so proud and honored to be partnered with this great church and Pastor Melo.  They are doing such awesome work in their community through the church, their Christian elementary school, and through planting other churches in the surrounding communities.

One great new project Pastor Melo is taking on is an activity court for their elementary school.  Required by local regulations, this court would allow the school to host various activities for the school’s youth.  Likewise, Pastor Melo envisions using the activity court to host basketball, and other games, for the community’s youth as an outreach program.

The cost of the project is $2500.  Only $2500 will provide the school with a huge concrete activity court, complete and ready for basketball, volleyball, dances, plays, and other activities.  Now that’s a deal!
