November 14th marked a great day for one special family in Bay St. Louis, MS. After two years of living in a cramped FEMA trailer Jeff and his family moved into their brand new home! F2W began working with Jeff and Melisa in 2006 and has been committed to helping them after their devastating loss from hurricane Katrina.

Over the past year I have developed a wonderful friendship with Jeff. I have seen this man's sacrifice and determination for his family. And it encourages me. In addition I have seen this family during some of the most difficult times, rally around each other and pull through. They are a great example of the power of faith and family.

Earlier this month I spoke to Jeff. He said they were able to enjoy a family Thanksgiving Holiday in their new home. Reflecting over the work and resources volunteers have provided his family, Jeff said, "Thank them please. We appreciate what they have done for us. You are special people. And if they are ever in the neighborhood, stop by!"

Personally, I am so honored that F2W has been able to be a part of helping Jeff and his family. To all the great volunteers and F2W Family Members, awesome job! You are truly impacting lives. I believe God is smiling because of your efforts.
