Part 2:

I am also blown away at the amazing things this little organization accomplished overseas and along the Gulf Coast this past year. Check out F2W's Away stats:

Overall Stats:

  • 213 - the number of volunteers who served during the year
  • 8,480 - the number of hours spent working in the mission field by staff and volunteers
  • 44 - the number of work orders that were completed

Away Mission Efforts:

  • 18 - the number of regional & overseas work orders completed
  • 43 - the number of volunteers who served along the Gulf Coast in 2007
  • 7 - the number of homes in Bay St. Louis completed or worked on
  • 2 - the number of trips to the Philippines
  • 6 - the number of baptisms during the second Philippines trip

Construction work on homes damaged or destroyed by hurricane Katrina, counseling and working with numerous families, even sending a husband and wife on vacation are some of the work F2W did in Bay St. Louis, MS during the past year. In the Philippines, phase one of an elementary school was completed, leadership training was conducted, youth studies and activities were held, an evangelism campaign along bordering areas and islands was conducted, to name a few!

F2W will continue, in the proper balance, to invest its resources in the people outside of Anderson. We are privileged to continue our partnership with Pastor Melo in the Philippines and are currently attempting to form a partnership in Mexico.

So many awesome things at Home and Away! But how was all this possible? I will tell you how. It was by...
