Now that 2007 has drawn to a close, here at Foot2Water we are reflecting on the past 12 months and realize how fortunate we have been to be right in the middle of so much of the Lord’s work! By now you may have read through some of Ike’s recent journals or perhaps read the Missions Possible article in the January 2008 F2W Currents newsletter and know exactly what I am talking about. If you haven’t seen this information yet, I strongly urge you to take a look at it because if you do, you will see first hand how the Lord blessed F2W in 2007 and how He used F2W and its many volunteers to serve His beloved children. In fact, last year F2W logged 8,480 hours of service utilizing 213 volunteers! Now that is awesome…Praise God that these individuals have been blessed with a servant’s heart and chose to show God’s love by helping others! If you were one of these people, on behalf of F2W, thank you! It doesn't end with the 213 volunteers either! Besides the time it takes to perform the service projects, there are so many people who are also involved behind the scenes. There is a group of people that have made the commitment to pray over F2W and all that God intends for us. They are instrumental for F2W to be successful. And certainly we are thankful to those of you that generously donated a portion of your hard-earned income so that F2W could impact lives for Christ. Without you, we couldn't have accomplished all we did this past year either. The F2W board of directors prayed for the finances necessary to do our planned work and God answered our prayers through you! In 2007, you gave a grand total of $22,146.85!!! Even though our 2007 expenses exceeded this income by $2,949.69, we were still able to carry zero debt for the organization into 2008 and have $4,826.79 in our operating account to kick off our 2008 ministry. However, it doesn't take a CPA to realize that if your expenses exceed your income, it is not a good financial direction to be heading. That is why we need you now more than ever! I ask you to prayerfully consider financially supporting this organization in 2008. We have created next year’s budget and have set lofty goals for what we want to accomplish. We need you to help us meet the financial need of those objectives!
