I am very excited to say we are here safely in the Philippines! After a canceled flight and a 6 hour layover in Detroit, we arrived safely here in the capital city of Manilla.
We were met by Pastor Melo and his wife, Sister Ruth and several of our old friends. The next day was spent traveling to the city of Masinloc while doing a little sightseeing along the way. At the church we were graciously greeted by many familiar faces.
It was so exciting to see all of our old friends and be introduced to many new ones. As always, the welcome was overwhelming from these wonderful people.
We are anticipating many great things this week as we begin to build a new church.
