I have been here in Masinloc, Philippines for over a week and it has been amazing. The week started out by working on the new church plant building in San Lorinzo. Without getting into specifics or the gruesom details, the team and I were basically forced into slave labor. And on top of that, it was like working on the surface of the sun!
But seriously, by week's end we got a lot of work done and it was great working besides our fellow brothers and sisters. Later in the week the new church held it's first service. With only 45 minutes notice, over 120 people atended the service! And using a guitar, a crackling sound system, and a message by Pastor Marty of Pendleton Street Baptist, God did an amazing work. Numerous people accepted Jesus as their savior! Amazing... After a great week, the team has returned home safely to the states. And while the backbreaking work maybe over for me, two busy weeks of evangilism, speaking, youth activities, and training are ahead. And of course, maybe a little hanging out with these great people as well. I just cant wait to see what God will do next! Until next time, keep the prayers coming.
